Homework Assignments
Homework assignments are due two classes after
the material is covered in class. When assignments are returned no more
assignments will be accepted.

Assignment
1  due Friday August 31. Note: the first couple of problems don't
have closed forms for the integral and the sum. use the evalf() function
to find the approximate numerical values of the answers.

Assignment
2  due Friday September 7. This is also a Maple assignment, based
on functions. Although the questions can be answered using variable assignments
(such as f:=3*x+2) I want you to get practice in using the equivalent functional
form (f:=x>3*x+2) as this is more useful.
