Public Observation Night - The first Observation Night using our
new observatory will be on Tuesday February 3rd 2009 - The Moon
will be close to its First Quarter phase. We will also be able to see Venus,
the Orion Nebula, and other objects. Starts at 6 pm. The viewing is free
and the public is invited to attend. No reservations are required. Children
are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Since night classes will
be in session, parking regulations will be enforced. As always, all observations
are dependent on viewing conditions. Please check back here for the latest
information on weather conditions. (See here for directions
to the observatory)
